I agree with you, but there is a line though which shouldn't be crossed. It's quite like saying don't drive a car if you feel it is unsafe. But which would you rather prefer, making the car safer or not driving it all together. Facebook collects massive information about us, generating the company colossal amounts of revenue depending on what it shares. Hi, I am very strict on privacy and want non-friends to see and know nothing about me whatsoever. If I post a comment to a group or Page wall, it remains private, but if I post a picture or photo on a Page's wall, it becomes visible to the public. If I remove it from my? own wall, then the photo gets deleted from the Page's wall as well. I also cannot adjust the privacy on my wall or that photo. Hi, I am very strict on privacy and want non-friends to see and know nothing about me whatsoever.? If I post a comment to a group or Page wall, it remains private, but if I post a picture or photo on a Page's wall, it becomes visible to the public. If I remove it from my own wall, then the photo gets deleted from the Page's wall as well. I also cannot adjust the privacy on my wall or that photo. Hi Afans thanks for stopping by. Right now there is no way to hide your name from search in Facebook. Only from other search engines like Yahoo, Bing and Google. You can't stop friend requests on a profile but certainly limit being found by switching off the? being found via your email or phone number in privacy settings/Who can look me up. preferences. If you are a public figure, a Page is a better option for you. Switch on follow on your profile and allow people to follow you instead of friend
